Terms of Use

Effective 17 September 2026 · Last updated 17 September 2026

FloorIQ helps flooring fitters measure, plan and produce fitting sheets. These terms explain how the service, subscriptions and saved work operate. They do not remove rights you have under applicable law.

Provider and contact

FloorIQ is provided by Bradley Johnson trading as FloorIQ, an individual based in the United Kingdom. Contact flooriqapp@gmail.com.

The iOS application licence is subject to Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement. These additional terms describe FloorIQ’s service. Applicable mandatory rights and Apple’s licence are not excluded by these terms.

Measurements and suggested plans

Enter the final cutting dimensions you require, including any fitting allowance you intend to use. The current stair planner adds no automatic fitting allowance. A minimum order or upward ordering increment may change the material ordered without changing your entered cuts.

Suggested arrangements depend on your measurements, selected roll and supported constraints. Check sizes, material availability, pile or laying direction, pattern requirements and supplier rules before ordering or cutting. A suggested layout is not a guarantee of the mathematically best possible use of carpet. An incomplete or proposed joined layout is not a confirmed cutting order.

You retain your rights in the information, plans and branding you enter. Only record and share customer details and logos where you have the right to do so. Keep your device secure and check recipients before sharing a worksheet.

FloorIQ Pro and payment

An active Apple subscription or valid complimentary entitlement provides Pro access. Monthly and yearly subscriptions unlock the same functionality. The applicable price, billing period, currency and taxes are shown by the App Store before you confirm a purchase. Annual subscriptions are charged upfront for the year.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled. Apple processes payments and renewals. FloorIQ does not take card details or arrange a separate charge outside the App Store. Any subscription price change follows Apple’s applicable notice and consent process.

Optional Sign in with Apple associates a FloorIQ identity with account-bound access. It does not synchronise or back up your plans.

Cancellation, refunds and restoration

To manage or cancel renewal on iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FloorIQ, or use the subscription-management link in the app. See Apple’s cancellation instructions. Deleting the app or a FloorIQ account does not cancel Apple billing.

Cancellation normally stops future renewal while access continues for the remaining paid period, subject to Apple’s transaction status. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable law. Use Apple’s refund process, or contact us about a service problem. Nothing here removes a statutory cancellation right or remedy for faulty digital content or services.

Use Restore Purchases with the Apple account used to subscribe to recover paid access. Restoring access does not recover, back up or move locally saved plans.

Complimentary access

Complimentary access may be provided for a stated period or without a scheduled expiry. It is not a paid lifetime product. We will communicate any conditions when a grant is made and honour commitments made with that grant.

Where a grant permits withdrawal, we will give reasonable notice where practicable. Access may be suspended without prior notice to address misuse, fraud or an urgent security problem; contact us if you believe this was a mistake. Ending complimentary access does not cancel an independently active Apple subscription.

Connection and offline use

Buying or restoring access and periodically checking status require a connection. Previously verified access can continue offline until its known expiry or the verification limit, currently up to 72 hours from the last accepted check, whichever is sooner. A network or device-clock problem may require reconnection before access can be confirmed.

FloorIQ cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We will use reasonable care to provide the service and address reported faults. Where a fault affects your legal rights or paid service, contact us so we can help.

Saved work and what happens when Pro ends

Plans, drafts and worksheet settings are saved on your device. FloorIQ does not provide cloud plan backup or live collaboration. Save your work and keep exported copies elsewhere when needed. A PDF is a worksheet, not an editable plan backup. Device loss, storage removal or reinstalling the app can make local work unavailable.

When Pro access ends, the current app locks the planner and export screens while retaining stored records. Restoring valid access makes those records available again if they remain on the device. Deleting your optional online account removes that identity and complimentary access, not your local plans or Apple subscription.

Support and responsible use

Contact flooriqapp@gmail.com with a description of the issue and your Support ID, if available. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details. Do not bypass access controls, misuse account services or interfere with anyone else’s records.

We remain responsible for obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable duties to provide digital content and services with reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability the law does not allow us to exclude.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains the information handled by the app and its services. We will give appropriate notice before material changes to these terms affecting an ongoing service take effect. Changes will not remove rights relating to an earlier purchase. If FloorIQ’s operator changes, we will identify the new operator and address any necessary transfer of existing agreements.

Questions and disputes

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any right to bring a claim in your local courts. For business-to-business disputes, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
